Dr Natalie Rogerson

Veterinarian & Practice Owner (BSc BVMS)

Natalie graduated from Murdoch University in 2013. After completing an internship at Perth Veterinary Specialists, she moved to New Zealand where she worked for five years in an Auckland small-animal practice. After plenty of sight-seeing and holidaying throughout New Zealand, she returned home to Perth in 2019 with two fluffy souvenirs in tow – a deaf cat called Alba and a Maltese cross called Koda. She joined the Doubleview team in 2019 and has never looked back! She’s now added another French Bulldog to the fur-family, just to keep things interesting!

Dr Natalie, in partnership with Dr Fran and Dr Kate, took over ownership of the Doubleview Vet Centre in 2022.

Dr Francesca Harold

Veterinarian & Practice Owner (BSc BVMS)

Dr Francesca graduated from Murdoch University in 2012 with honours. A local herself, having grown up in Woodlands, Francesca has a keen interest in small animal medicine and surgery. Joining the team in late 2020 she has quickly established many wonderful relationships with the pets and their people at Doubleview Vets. Outside of work she owns a suburban hobby farm (much to her husband’s disgust) with 8 clucky hens, 2 small humans and Percy, a rescue dog from the Pilbara.

Dr Fran, in partnership with Dr Natalie and Dr Kate, took over ownership of the Doubleview Vet Centre in 2022.

Dr Kate Buffin

Veterinarian & Practice Owner (BSc BVMS)

Kate graduated from Murdoch University in 2012 and has worked on and off at Doubleview Vet Centre since 2019.

Kate has spent all her career working in small animal clinics throughout Perth. She has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and is passionate about animal welfare which has seen her partake in several overseas and local vet volunteer programs including India, Thailand, Myanmar, Greece and Broome.

When she is not working, you might find Kate chasing around after her kids, shooting goals on the netball court, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, cheering on her football team, doing laps in the pool or cuddling her cat, Snowy.

Dr Kate, in partnership with Dr Fran and Dr Natalie, took over ownership of the Doubleview Vet Centre in 2022.

Kate is currently on maternity leave, we look forward to having her back later in 2024.

Dr Veronica Peck

Veterinarian (BSc BVMS)

Dr Veronica graduated from Murdoch University in 2010. Veronica worked as a mixed practice veterinarian in Donnybrook for a year, before perusing her love of small animal practice and returning to Perth, starting the Doubleview Vet Centre in 2012. Veronica is passionate about her work and enjoys all facets of small animal practice. At home she loves spending time with her energetic staghound cross Willow, going on long bush walks and to the beach. In 2018 Veronica embarked on a new adventure, with the impending arrival of her first non-fur baby and welcomed her second non-fur baby in 2020. Since then, she has returned to the Doubleview team on a part-time basis as she finds a balance between her love of veterinary work and looking after her young family.

Dr Kristen Holloway

Veterinarian (BSc BVMS)

Dr Kristen has over 20 years experience in small animal veterinary practice, she brings her wealth of knowledge and experience to the Doubleview team. Kristen has a special interest in feline medicine and geriatric pet care. She is looking forward to getting to know the people and pets of our local community.

Dr Gen McMinn

Veterinarian (BSc BVMS)

Gen graduated from Murdoch University in 2018 and spent the start of her career consolidating her skills in a busy regional WA practice. Growing up locally she has returned to Perth to join the Doubleview team in early 2023. Gen brings her experience and passion for behaviour medicine and feline medicine to our team. A member of our full-time staff, she also enjoys singing and creative writing when not at the clinic. At home, she has two rescue cats Boots and Bug.

Dr Amy Nagatani

Veterinarian (BSc BVMS)

Dr Amy graduated from Murdoch University in 2016 she loves to travel and spent the first 5 years of her career working as a small animal veterinarian in Canada before returning to Perth and joining the Doubleview team. Amy is passionate about animal welfare and has travelled abroad and to regional areas of Australia to provide veterinary care for underprivileged animals. Amy enjoys all aspects of general practice for the variety of cases and animals she see’s. Amy shares her home with the cute and cuddle, Una the Chihuahua cross.

Dr Kasia Laskowski

Veterinarian (BSc BVMS)

Dr Kasia has always loved animals and grew up having lots of different pets. She graduated from Murdoch Vet School in 2007 and since then she has worked in multiple small animal clinics across Perth. She enjoys every aspect of being a vet and finds it very rewarding to be able to keep people’s beloved pets happy and healthy through every stage of their lives. Kasia joined our team in 2023 and she works part time. She lives locally and is excited to be able to service her community and provide compassionate care to our clients and patients. Kasia is married with 3 young children. At home she has a cat called Arnold, who acts more like a dog, and a Flow bee hive! She also has hopes of getting some backyard chickens although her husband isn’t too keen. In her spare time she likes to spend time outdoors with her family and can often be found at one of the local parks of playgrounds.

Teneille Nicholson

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing)

Teneille has over 20 years experience as a veterinary nurse, working in a myriad of mixed and small animal practices all over Australia. She has been involved in the management of both corporate and independently owned veterinary businesses over the years and has a passion for animal welfare and fair practice, she expects every patient to receive a gold standard in nursing care. Teneille joined the Doubleview management team in 2021 and works behind the scenes to ensure our clinic always provides the highest level of care for all our patients. In her spare time Teneille enjoys the outdoors, camping and travelling with her family. She has two gorgeous blue staffies, Ink and Jax.

Robyn Smith

Registered Veterinary Nurse & Practice Manager (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing)

Robyn has been Vet Nursing for several years. Robyn joined us at Doubleview Vet Centre in 2008 and has been our Practice Manager for most of this period. Robyn loves the challenges her job brings and enjoys that every day is different. Robyn has one Kelpie x dog “Penny”. Robyn also has a great interest in feathered and scaly exotic pets. Robyn enjoys painting, scuba diving and spending time with her dog in her spare time.

Laura Gillespie

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing)

Laura has been working as a veterinary nurse for 14 years in general practice, originally qualifying in the UK. Laura joined Doubleview Vet Centre in 2013.

Laura is a fanatical feline lover… and has always had cats as pets. Laura has a specific interest in nursing hospital patients back to health and interacting within the kitten and puppy consultations helping owners start their pets achieve a healthy life. Laura also has a passion for health and fitness and regularly trains in the gym.

Peta McLoughlin

Receptionist

Peta has been in the veterinary industry for 10 years has worked in general practice, specialist clinics and a 24 hour emergency hospital. Peta has always had cats as pets, but also enjoys pet sitting dogs and puppy kisses. She shares her home with her 2 long haired cats Alex and Penny who were adopted from a previous workplace. Peta is passionate about animals and enjoys advising owners on how to best care for their pets. On her time off she is usually socialising, shopping, spending time with friends, or on the couch watching Netflix with her cats (if they are in the mood to snuggle).

Michelle Swainson

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV veterinary nursing )

Michelle gained her certificate in Vet nursing in 2018 and began her career working in a mixed rural practice in the south-west. She then relocated back to Perth in early 2020 expanding her skills in general practice before joining the Doubleview team in early 2021.

Michelle is a lover of all animals and does not pick sides on the great dog/cat debate (much to her pet cat Nando’s disgust). In her spare time Michelle enjoys going on bush walks, travelling, and socialising with friends.

Bianca Zampatti

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing)

Bianca began her veterinary career in 2006 and has continued to grow to love her role in the veterinary team. Bianca has worked extensively in small animal general practice and more recently expanded her scope, not only working at Doubleview but also working in a veterinary emergency and critical care setting. Bianca grew up in Broome, where she had a menagerie of animals. Today she is owned by two tabby cats, Jezabel and Tigerlil, that she hand reared from kittens. Bianca enjoys in particular the care of her feline geriatric patients.

Cortnee Black

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing)

Cortnee graduated her veterinary nursing training in 2020. She has worked since in small animal practice, enjoying learning and growing her skills as a general practice nurse, she is passionate about patient care and welfare. Cortnee enjoys all aspects of nursing and looks forward to meeting you and your pet soon.

Elsie Duffy

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing)

Elsie joined the Doubleview team in Febuary 2023 as a placement for the practical component of her veterinary nursing studies with A.V.T. Since graduation in December 2023 we are pleased to announce she has become a permanent member of the DVC family. Since starting in Febuary the Doubleview team has been impressed with how Elsie has grown her knowledge and skills of veterinary nursing care and know she will become another fantastic member of our team. Elsie shares her home with an abyssinian cat called Maggie and ragdoll cat called Buffy. She loves working with cats and finds surgical cases both interesting and rewarding to be involved with.

Cara McCullough

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Cara graduated her nursing studies in 2022 and joined the DVC team as a full-time nurse in 2024. Cara has a special interest in anesthesia and surgical nursing, she is hoping to continue studying anesthesiology in the future. She lives with her two lovely labradoodles Piper and Banksi and bunny Harley.

Madi Conlon

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Madi has recently graduated from AVT with her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing as of December 2023. Before completing her veterinary nursing Madi attained her Bachelor’s of Agricultural Science from Murdoch University and loves working with all animals big and small. Madi has a special interest in anaesthesia and focuses on providing the best patient care where she strives to continue learning and further develop her nursing skills. In her free time Madi loves to go camping and spends time with her 2 dogs Rosie and Billy. 

Jenna Young

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Jenna joined the Doubleview team mid 2022, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our nursing team with over 18 years experience including roles in veterinary practice management and veterinary emergency care. Jenna enjoys the diversity of the job both in the types of animals we care for and the varying medical and surgical cases we see. When not at work Jenna enjoys long walks on the beach with her two dogs Archie the miniature Daschund and Elfie the Staffy Cross.

Jenna is currently on maternity leave, we hope to welcome her back in 2024.

Helen Binks

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV veterinary nursing )

Helen has been working in the Veterinary industry for over 15 years, she has experience in a range of different areas within the Veterinary industry, including Emergency and Critical Care, Dermatology and also lecturers the Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing students.

Helen has always had a strong focus on making a pets experience at the Veterinary Clinic as low stress as possible and in 2019 became Fear free certified nurse. Fear Free is all about taking your time to build trust through positive interactions. Helen shares her home with two very well behaved cats Olive (9 years) and Kramer (4 years).

Helen is currently on maternity leave.

Shannon Mioduszewki

(IMDT dog trainer)

Puppy Pre-school trainer Shannon is a certified positive reinforcement and fear-free trainer through the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers. She loves to work with all breeds and believes in building up confident, well-rounded, enriched dogs by nurturing strong, fun relationships between them and their owners. She has 3 dogs of her own; Des a Shar Pei, Jupiter a Chihuahua and Ambrose a Rottweiler, not to mention a small suburban hobby farm, cats and a Woma Python.
