Our in-house laboratory can provide you with results on the same day thanks to our newest piece of equipment the Imagyst – a specialised microscope that allows us to send images of blood smears, urine, skin or ear swabs or aspirates from lumps, direct to specialist veterinary pathologists worldwide for interpretation with results back to our veterinary team within 4 hours. Specialised testing may take longer, especially if the sample is sent to an external laboratory. External laboratory results are usually obtained within 12-24 hours for blood results or up to 7 days for biopsy results, depending on the nature of the test being performed. Ask your veterinarian when to call for your pet’s laboratory results.

We also have a triocular microscope fitted with a digital camera.  This allows us to examine samples from your pet’s skin or ear diseases, as well as cytology from needle aspirates from lumps, body fluid aspiration and urine.
